Linda Hill is serving her first term as Union County Assessor/Tax Collector. Linda has worked for the Union County Assessor’s Office as a certified property appraiser for fourteen years. During that time she was the County Cartographer for three years and served as the project manager for the digital conversion of the Assessor’s maps. Prior to her employment with Union County, Linda worked as an independent personal property appraiser for many years, specializing in antiques and residential contents. Linda was also employed by Eastern Oregon University for several years.

Linda is a graduate of Eastern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has taken numerous classes and workshops in appraisal methods and theory. Linda grew up in California and moved to Union County in 1980 with her husband and two children.
